MIXING & CRITICAL LISTENING
Powerful and compact
The DT 70 IE is your tool for maximum precision – whether you're in the studio, mixing live, or on the move. Designed for sound engineers, it delivers faithful audio reproduction you can truly rely on, thanks to its physiologically linear tuning and TESLA.11 driver system.
DEVELOPED FOR MIXING AND CRITICAL LISTENING
The DT 70 IE is the perfect choice for sound engineers who demand the highest precision in mixing and critical listening. Its compact form factor makes it the ideal companion for live sound, studio, and on-the-go use. The linearly tuned sound signature, inspired by the Fletcher-Munson curve, delivers a balanced and authentic sound reproduction – perfect for audiophile music enjoyment as well.
Reference sound thanks to innovative driver design
The heart of the DT 70 IE is the TESLA.11 driver system, crafted in Germany and superior to conventional balanced armature systems. It delivers outstanding detail resolution with minimal distortion (THD: 0.02%). Thanks to its high impulse fidelity, acoustic events are reproduced with precision. With up to 137 dB sound pressure, the DT 70 IE is among the most powerful and low-distortion in-ear monitors on the market.
Better fit =
better sound
Many in-ear monitors fit poorly due to large driver systems, affecting sound quality and isolation. The DT 70 IE solves this with its space-saving TESLA.11 driver and an ergonomic design based on hundreds of MRI ear scans. It is more compact than comparable models, offering excellent sound, high isolation, and optimal comfort. For maximum flexibility, the package includes five silicone and three Comply™ memory foam ear tips.
excellent
sound isolation
Live stages and event halls can be extremely loud. Therefore, it’s crucial that a high-quality in-ear monitor delivers excellent sound quality and protects your hearing from long-term damage. The DT 70 IE has passive sound isolation of -39dB, making it one of the leading systems on the market.
MASTERS STUDIO, STAGE AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN
The DT 70 IE was developed with sound engineers and effortlessly handles the demands of studio and live use. Its high-quality cable minimises structure-borne noise, while the gold-plated MMCX connector provides a more stable connection than 2-pin alternatives. Additionally, the DT 70 IE is dust and waterproof to IP68 standards.

The clicking sound is caused by air compression in the ear canal when the ear tips create a seal. This sound is harmless and disappears once the monitors are correctly positioned and pressure equalises.
